XM1584 DC-DC Step-Down Converter / MP1584 Buck Module

The XM1584 helps reduce voltage without wasting too much power in your circuit. This buck-type DC-DC converter efficiently produces a stable output below the input voltage.
The module is intended for currents below 1.5A unless actively cooled. Built-in overtemperature protection switches it off if it gets too hot. For higher currents, consider a larger DC-DC converter such as this one.
XM1584 is a small, practical module that handles the switching regulation. Simply set the output voltage by turning its potentiometer.
This type of regulator is useful for:
- Reducing a voltage, for example from 5V to 3.3V
- Prototyping a simple, robust voltage-regulation system
Solder pads on both sides let you attach wires or solder the module directly onto a circuit board.
