14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you generally have 14 days to notify us that you wish to withdraw from an online purchase, counted from the day you receive the goods. If several items in one order are delivered separately, the period normally starts when you receive the last item. Send a clear notification to kontakt@ebits.dk; a specific return form is not required.

How to return goods

Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Return address: eBits ApS, Paludan-Müllers Vej 82, 8200 Aarhus N, Denmark. Please include your order number and package the goods securely. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery. You pay the direct return costs when exercising the ordinary right of withdrawal; for a justified claim concerning a defect, the rules on remedies free of charge apply.

Condition of the goods

You may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond this. Opening ordinary packaging or breaking an ordinary seal does not in itself remove the right of withdrawal.

Refunds

When you withdraw, we refund the payments we have received, including the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for the original order. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery method are not necessarily refunded. Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification, but we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or evidence of their return, whichever happens first. We generally use the same payment method as for the purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed at no cost to you.

Statutory exceptions

The right of withdrawal may be limited in specific cases provided for by law, such as individually made goods or certain digital supplies and services, when the statutory conditions and consent requirements are met. Any relevant exceptions must be disclosed before purchase; there is no general exception for all opened electronics.

Damaged or faulty goods

Contact us at kontakt@ebits.dk or +45 55 66 87 00 with your order number and a description of the problem. Your statutory rights concerning defects are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal and are not limited by an internal 48-hour deadline. Contact us before arranging return shipping for a claim concerning a defect so we can agree on the appropriate handling.
