This Passive/Active Low-Level-Trigger Buzzer Module provides a compact way to add sound to electronics projects. Based on a 9012 transistor, the module operates from 3.3V to 5V for use with appropriately interfaced Arduino, ESP32, STM32 and other microcontroller systems.
The PCB measures just 3,3 cm x 1,3 cm and includes mounting holes for integration where space is limited.
The product is available with active and passive buzzers:
-
The active buzzer variants generate a fixed tone around 2.5kHz for simple alarms and audible signals.
-
The passive buzzers allow different notes and melodies by supplying an appropriate drive waveform.
This makes the module suitable for alarms and reminders as well as creative projects using sound.
Guides and examples are available for connecting a compatible module to Arduino and generating sound. See the datasheet HERE.
