Electronics starter soldering kit / PCB beetle

A fun electronics soldering starter kit that takes about half an hour to assemble and provides days of enjoyment.

This PCB beetle has 2 LEDs that light up when its photocell detects that the room is too dark. It is an ideal soldering project for children, quickly giving a sense of achievement.

What's in the package?

The kit includes:

1 × beetle PCB in your chosen colour
2 × LEDs
1 × 47kΩ resistor
1 × miniature photocell
1 × 20mm coin-cell holder (battery not included)
1 × 2N3904 transistor
2 × 220Ω resistors
