Breadboard power supply
Power your breadboard at 5V and 3.3V with minimal hassle, using a cable or battery.
There are many ways to power a breadboard . Build your own voltage-regulator circuit if you like, or save time with one of these practical power supplies.
Connect a supply of at least 7V through the black 5.5mm DC connector. A 9V battery with this cable gives you a battery-powered circuit.
The breadboard/prototyping board power supply plugs easily into a breadboard/prototyping boardand powers its supply rails. Choose 5V or 3.3V independently for each rail. The built-in button and power LED make switching the supply on and off easy. The USB port can supply an external device with 5V through a USB cable.
Built-in voltage regulators include overcurrent protection that attempts to protect the supply during a short circuit. This is an emergency feature that stresses the components; repeated short circuits may still damage the supply.
