2mm Desoldering Braid / Solder Wick

Everyone makes mistakes! Fix soldering errors quickly and easily.

Desoldering braid is designed to remove solderfrom short circuits between conductors or to tidy up a solder joint.

How to use desoldering braid:

1) Heat your soldering iron to around 380°C

2) Place 2–3mm of braid/solder wick on the solder joint you want to remove

3) Put the soldering iron on top of the braid/solder wick  and wait

4) Once hot enough, the solder melts and is drawn into the braid/solder wick

5) Lift the braid/solder wick away and tidy the joint with the iron, adding a little fresh solder if needed.
