It is impressive how much Espressif, the company behind the ESP32, has fitted into a small chip. You get a dual-core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth and many communication interfaces at a very low price, backed by a large open-source community that lets you program the ESP using Arduino, CircuitPython and MicroPython.
