Raspberry Pi OV5647 night-vision camera with ribbon cable

130-degree Raspberry Pi night-vision camera – let your Raspberry Pi see in the dark!

The camera requires a Raspberry Pi with a compatible CSI camera connection and supported software. Pi 400, Pico and the original Pi Zero without a camera connector cannot connect directly. Pi 5 and camera-equipped Zero models normally need a different ribbon cable from boards with the larger 15-pin connector. home surveillance facial recognition

The camera has a capable 5-megapixel sensor and is largely plug and play. There are many projects online using this camera.

This camera is designed for both daylight and night use. Two infrared LEDs, mounted on either side, have light-spreading lenses and light sensors that activate infrared illumination only when it is dark.

A fisheye lens provides a 130-degree field of view, letting the camera cover larger areas from closer up.

Have fun experimenting!
