FT232R USB-to-serial UART converter
Use this converter to program and communicate with your microcontroller.
UART is one of the most commonly used communication protocols between microcontrollers and various sensors. If you have built your own Arduino board, this converter makes it easy to program.
The module has a jumper marked 3.3V/5V and a DTR connection. Check its schematic or measure signal levels: a VCC jumper does not necessarily change UART logic levels. DTR reset and bootloader entry depend on the target board’s circuit.
Protection circuits and fuse rating must be verified on the current module revision; avoid short circuits and check polarity before connecting.
