TPS5430 is a buck converter; a negative output requires an inverting topology. A normal positive buck stage cannot produce +15 V from 13 V. In an inverting stage, chip voltage depends on input and negative output. Confirm the board schematic, allowed input and current limits before connection; the source 13–36 V and 2.5 A figures are not verified module limits.
The TPS5430 Dual-Output Power Supply Module is described as a compact DC/DC converter providing regulated+15V and−15V rails for analogue circuits, operational amplifiers, audio systems and embedded devices. The published 13V minimum input conflicts with a+15V buck output; verify the actual topology and required input voltage before use.
