HC-SR04 uses a 5V supply and its Echo signal can be 5V. Do not connect Echo directly to a 3.3V GPIO on ESP32, Raspberry Pi or Pico. Use a correctly designed voltage divider or level shifter and common ground. Also check the Trigger input requirements for the specific variant.
A simple, reliable distancesensor!
A compact, efficient distance sensor for all kinds of distance-measurement projects. Both transmitter and receiver are included, so they do not need to be connected separately. The sensor is easy to use thanks to guideand offers the following features:
- Measures the physical distance between the sensor and an object such as a hand or wall
- Uses ultrasound, which is inaudible to humans
- Four mounting holes make enclosure installation easy
