The LilyGo TTGO T-SIM7000E is packed with features, including GPS, GSM, a TF-card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, to name a few.
An 18650 battery can be connected on the back for wireless operation. The package includes a power cable that can be soldered to a solar panel. Solar panels are also available at eBits.
GPS and SIM functionality may be unfamiliar to hobbyists, so examples have already been written to get the LilyGo TTGO T-SIM7000E up and running today:
