A motion sensor that detects small vibrations
KY-002 detects vibrations and movement in your projects. Its simple interface connects to microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi and ESP32 straightforward. The sensor provides a digital contact signal when vibration occurs. Adjustable sensitivity and an indicator are not confirmed for the stocked variant.
A conductive spring surrounds a pin. A shock makes the spring vibrate, and sufficient movement brings it into contact with the pin to close the circuit.
The simple vibration switch can detect impacts in electronics and robotics projects. Wiring and any pull-up or pull-down resistors must match the particular variant.
For a similar simple sensor that responds to stronger impacts and collisions, this may be an alternative.
