HC-SR501 PIR Motion Sensor
The HC-SR501 PIR motion sensor detects changes in infrared radiation caused by moving people or animals. It is an affordable module for motion-triggered projects, such as detecting movement in a room. It is not a reliable stationary-presence detector.
The sensor has three pins: Vcc, output and ground. Its output uses a 3.3V TTL logic level, allowing use with suitable Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PIC, ARM, 8051 and other controller inputs. It can be used for motion alarms or automatic lighting projects.
