Control your electronics with a thumb-operated joystick.
2-Axis Rocker Module – a PS2-style joystick module for Arduino and other projects. Raspberry Pi requires an external ADC to read the analogue axes.
Two potentiometers provide analogue signals for the Xand Yaxes. It also includes a push-button, sometimes labelled the Z function, so you can click to confirm a selection or trigger an action in your software.
It uses a 3.3V to 5V DC supply. At rest, the X/Y signals are approximately half the supply voltage: VCC/2: about 2.5 V with a 5 V supply or 1.65 V with 3.3 V. Moving the joystick shifts the signals towards the supply voltage 5 V or towards 0 V. Keep the output range within the connected ADC's input limits.
